Kevin Hardy
Director of Finance and Partnerships
Kevin Hardy is the Director of Finance and Partnerships at The Calculus Project (TCP). In this role, he oversees financial strategy, planning, and stewardship while building and managing key partnerships that strengthen TCP’s long-term sustainability and impact. Kevin works closely with the CEO and leadership team to ensure financial health, operational excellence, and the development of strategic relationships that expand TCP’s reach and resources.
Kevin brings more than 15 years of experience in financial management, business development, and international education. Most recently, he served as Senior Technical Advisor for New Business Development in the Education Practice at IREX, where he managed a $590M pipeline of development opportunities. Prior to that, Kevin was Vice President of the U.S. Donor Portfolio at Mott MacDonald/Cambridge Education, where he led U.S. market entry for USAID- and MCC-funded projects.
Earlier in his career at Mott MacDonald, Kevin served as Commercial Manager and Project Director, managing multimillion-dollar education initiatives including the $45M Measures of Effective Teaching Project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He has also supported TCP since its early stages, partnering with founder Dr. Adrian Mims to develop marketing and funding strategies that helped secure Gates Foundation recognition of TCP as one of its “10 Bright Spots in Mathematics.”
Kevin holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a BA in Economics and Government from Wesleyan University, where he captained the men’s ice hockey team. He volunteers in the education industry and in his community, where he served as Vice Chair of the Basic Education Coalition, and serves as a board member of Golden Boots Uganda, and as a Town Meeting Member in Milton, Massachusetts.
