Jennifer C. Fischer-Mueller, Ed.D.

Jennifer is an educational leader with a demonstrated commitment to excellence and equity throughout her decades in the profession. Dr. Fischer-Mueller led the Canton (MA) Public Schools as Superintendent from 2016 – 2021 before shifting her focus on high-quality early childhood education. Before her superintendency, for 13 years Jennifer served as Deputy Superintendent of Teaching and Learning in the Public Schools of Brookline (MA). With over 30 years in education, Dr. Fischer-Mueller’s experiences range from teaching science for 13 years (grades 7 – 10) and school-based and district administration, preK – 12 for 20 years. 

Across her roles as teacher and administrator, Jennifer was recognized and honored for her excellence in teaching science in inclusive classrooms, leading collaborative adult learning experiences and championing district-wide projects that engaged stakeholders across schools and communities. Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Mathematics while playing Division I basketball at the University of New Hampshire, and subsequently receiving her Master’s degree. Jennifer went on to earn her Doctorate in Science and Mathematics Education from the University of Massachusetts/Lowell.

Currently, Jennifer is the Chief Operations Officer for Global Early Education, LLC and the Head of School at Global’s flagship school, the Martin Trust Partnership in Education for Early Learners, Brookline, MA.
